2006

EARLY LEADERSHIP

Seneca High School: Senior class president, Science Club president, MSSU Science Fair scholarship award winner, 2nd place @ Intel International Science Fair, Varsity cheerleading captain. Recruited to join the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) as an instructor and never looked back (2006-2016)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2010

COLLEGE + TRAVEL 

Led the MSSU cheer team to compete at the NCA Collegiate National Championship for the first time in university history, traveled to Misawa, Japan with NCA to host camps for the U.S. Department of Defense, cheerleading coach of McCauley Catholic High School, NCA Head Instructor mentor

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2012-2013

MAKING MOVES

Moved from Missouri, joined the NCA & NDA Corporate Marketing Team in Dallas. Managed social media accounts and developed new campaigns, trained staff on brand mission, and introduced social media engagement and CTA into camp programs using a social media team on-site and program activations. Head of Varsity London Tour media in England (2012-15)

 

 

2015-2016

GROWTH + CONSULTING

Grew NCA & NDA marketing team, led training, content development process (ideation/execution). Partnered with Chelles Macarons as a marketing consultant. Joined Vertical Fitness Dallas and the aerial community, Aerial Silks Instructor (2015-16).

 

 

 

2016-2017

CHANGING CHEER MEDIA

Created process and built teams from ground up for Varsity TV & FloCheer. In only a year, established Varsity TV and FloCheer as two of the top media properties at FloSports and the go to destinations for cheerleaders nationwide. Produced 18 short documentaries and led on-site execution at 22 live events across the country

 

 

 

 

 

 

2018

PARTNERSHIP SUCCESS

After continued growth, I was promoted to manage the business relationship and overall operations between FloSports and Varsity Spirit. After demonstrating exceptional partnership management skills, my role grew into managing a new vertical launch and overall partnership with the PBA (Professional Bowlers Association). 

 

 

 

 

 

2007-2009

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION

Enrolled at Missouri Southern to study Biology, MSSU cheerleader and named captain (2008-2011). Joined The Flip Shop coaching staff and discovered marketing, developed The Flip Shop All Star Cheer program and became head coach/director. Transitioned to the school of business. Became NCA Head Instructor (awarded Top Rookie Head Instructor)

 

 

 

 

2011

ANDY WILLIAMS

After graduating from MSSU, interned as team lead for marketing and business growth project for the Andy Williams Theater. Used market research and data to create a new marketing strategy. Created the business' first-ever website and presented new marketing plans for growth.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2013-2016

AMERICAN CHEERLEADER MAGAZINE

Joined the AC Mag team as assistant editor and brand contributor, DIY section contributor, and led media coverage on-site for cover shoots and editorials

 

 

 

July 2016

FLOSPORTS + AUSTIN

Varsity Spirit and NCA & NDA partnered with FloSports, a digital live streaming company, to create the media properties Varsity TV and FloCheer. I was recruited to lead the verticals, create the team and build something big as the Senior Editor, moved to Austin.

 

Sept 2017

STRATEGY + MANAGEMENT

After exceeding our goals in our first season, I was promoted to General Manager of Varsity TV & FloCheer. Responsible for day to day strategy for each of the verticals and managed partnership execution between FloSports and Varsity Spirit, one of the largest partnerships in company history.
